Voonna Sai Teja

Voonna Sai Teja is an incoming PhD student in our group starting July 2026. He is part of the IITB-Tohoku DDDP and will work in collaboration with Tohoku University, Japan with the group of Prof. Tetsuo Shoji and Prof. Hiroshi Abe. His PhD topic is stress corrosion cracking of alumina forming Fe-based alloys in high temperature-high pressure environments. He has a MTech in Materials Science and Engineering, IIT Kharagpur and BTech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from NIT Raipur.

Postdocs

Dr. Manish Kumar Singh

Manish is a Institute postdoctoral fellow in our group from July 2026. His work focuses on high temperature oxidation behavior of eutectic and refractory high entropy alloys. He completed his PhD from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad with Prof. Rahul M R on the compositional and microstructural optimization of eutectic high entropy alloys.
